Bio

Born 1987 in Luxembourg, Edwin Aldin van Veen is half Bosnian, quarter Dutch and a quarter Czech. He has been surrounded by music and arts since his birth from all sides of his family who include some notable musicians and artists as Safet & Fedja Isovic, Herman van Veen or Olivia Krenek. He has pursued  a classical solfeggio & piano education at the Conservatory of Luxembourg, which he later continued at the Ecole Du Musique Redange.

In his teenage years Edwin taught himself the guitar, bass & drums. Shortly after he started producing his own works. Since then Edwin has been part of the formation of a number of musical projects in which he has performed, including: Lumi, Natas Loves You, Fog Digging Sessions, Emina HelenaBoy KingThe Color of Art, & Weekend Trips. In late 2009 Edwin founded ‘Bonus Noise’, a recording studio and independent label in Luxembourg where he works as a music producer. Please visit www.bonusnoise.com for more sounds and details. In 2012, Edwin became the artistic booker & music manager of the D:qliq music venue where he worked for nearly 2 years. During his time there, the venue was awarded 2nd place for best Club/Bar in the 2013 Luxembourg Night Life Awards.

Edwin holds a Bachelor of Arts in European Studies from the University of Maastricht and a Master of Science in Public Policy & Human Development from the United Nations University & Maastricht Graduate School of Governance.
